For this week’s tech recap, we look at: Metaverse, computer systems of the future, Available Tech Careers and Roles

metaverseLast week the news of Facebook’s re-branding came out and we got a few insights about how the process will be implemented. Today, we look further into Metaverse and how its future looks like.

The metaverse is a digital reality that combines aspects of social media, online gaming, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and cryptocurrencies to allow users to interact virtually.

In this week’s tech recap, we take a look at The Metaverse, Computer Systems of The Future and Available Tech Careers and Roles.

The Metaverse Is Simply Big Tech, but Bigger

As the metaverse grows, it will create online spaces where user interactions are more multidimensional than current technology supports. Instead of just viewing digital content, users in the metaverse will be able to immerse themselves in a space where the digital and physical worlds converge.

Big Tech luminaries are preaching the coming of the next internet. According to tech companies and venture capitalists alike—tomorrow’s cyberspace will be empyrean, transcendent, immersive, 3D, and all folded together, the disparate sites and services we live and die by gathered under one love. It will be a super-platform that convenes sub-platforms: social media, online video games, and ease-of-life apps, all accessible through the same digital space and sharing the same digital economy.

Whether that happens in the next 30, 50, or 100 years, however, is a different question.

These are the 4 computer systems of the future.
